So how many posts does that avg out to?

Ok, the chatter is still going on but I need to get this out.

Outdoors and fieldcraft section now has 20,528 poses up from 20,494 yesterday for 34 post increase.

Knives Forum thread now has 456,051 posts up from 455,775 yesterday. That gives us a 286 post increase.

Ok the ZDC page count was at 1414 yesterday and now it's up to 1422 for an 8 page increase.

The TOTAL website post count is now at 481,040. Yes, we now have gotten into the 481 thousand realm. Just yesterday we were at 480,730 posts for an increase of 309 posts.

Ok using this, we now have 18,961 posts go go and 71 days to do it so that means we need 267.05 posts per day.

Ok, it's a beautiful day in the ScrapYard hood.... ON WITH THE SHOW!

The outdoors and fieldcraft section had a more typical day as of late. It went from 20,528 to 20,540 for a 12 post increase. Not bad for this section.

The Knives Forum section of course contains the ZDC, the most popular thread on the site, along with the others. Yesterday morning the knives forum had 456,051 posts and today it is up to 456,405 for an increase of 354 posts! We keep this up we WILL get to 500 K before blade!

The ZDC page count yesterday was 1422 and today it is 1434 for 12 page increase, the same increase as the outdoors and fieldcraft section.

Ok the TOTAL, Website post count has gone from 481,040 posts yesterday morning all the way up to 481,407 today for an increase of 367 posts!

Ok SUMO, that means we now have 18,593 posts to go for our 500 thousand post goal. And with that we need to average 265.61 posts per day for the next 70 days counting today but NOT counting the 10th of June.

Way to go folks, you dedication is showing, and also your desire to give DAN a gift in return from us.

The Knives Forum side is now at 456,558 posts up 153, not as good as the last two or three days, but not a bad day of posting.

The ZDC was on page 1434 and today it's on page 1438 for a 4 page increase.

The TOTAL post count for the Website is now at 481,575, up from 481,407 yesterday for an increase of 168 posts.

Ok, for those of you who are keeping up with this that means that now on our relentless march toward 500,000 posts we still need 18,425 posts and we have 69 days to get it done (ok 70 IF you want to count the 10th of June).

So for all the mathematicians out there we need to average 267.02 posts per day, or if we use the 70 day mark we need to average 263.21 posts per day.

We need to start having a few more days like Friday then, that'll get us there with time to spare

WOW, 16 pages and OVER 300 posts! That is the count from Saturday nights Sip and Talk. GOOD topic and everyone had a lot of fun, and Dan even handed out some prizes for correct answers in the form of shop credits! So IF you can, plan to join the next one and claim your prize, if you answer correctly!

Ok We also had another milestone in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Our own "Natureographer" Mike "Nature Boy" Spinak attained the designation of a 5 digit Dog by getting and surpassing 10 THOUSAND posts! Join his celebratory thread and give him a big attaboy!

Now for the mundane part of the thread.

The Outdoors and Fieldcraft section of the site is now at 20,573 posts, up from 20,554 yesterday morning for a net increase of 19 posts.

The Knives Forum side of the house has really got a shot in the arm, thanks to the sip and talk. This section is now up to 457,096 posts, up from 456,558 just yesterday which gives an increase of 538 posts! Ho boy, Dan, I think we need to do this every couple of weeks!

The ZDC took second place today, and that's ok. The ZDC page count was at 1438 pages yesterday and today it's at 1446 for an 8 page increase. Not bad in it's own right!

Ok the TOTAL post count is now all the way up to 482,134 posts, up from 481,575 yesterday. That gives us a total post increase of 559 posts! WOW, now THAT'S SOME POSTING DAWGS!

Ok using these new and vastly greater numbers here is where we stand in our steady relentless march for the 500,000 post goal. We now need 17,866 posts or 262.73 posts per day average to reach that for which we strive.
