You know, I just thought about something. Last year when the economy was still in freefall we would have a hard time getting to 200 posts in a day, now, even if it's not a full recovery, the economy is starting to push it's way back up and under 300 is "not the best" (for all you hardheads like me that means it was kinda bad).

The posting seems to at times go in cycles. Depends how many are on and how silly or informative the posts are. AND new releases (or rumors of them) help as well.

Ah, the silliness to Amount of time curve, I know it well.

That's a lot of posts!

Ok, the beginning of another work week for me and another day of Stats for the Forum.

Today the outdoors and fieldcraft side of the board is at 21,637, up from 21,608 for an increase of 29 posts. That averages out so close to 10 posts a day we might as well call it that.

Today the Knives Forum side of the board is at 483,916. This is up from 482,975 Sunday morning. This gives us an increase of 941 posts. Wow, that is an average of over 310 posts a day!

The ZDC page count is now up to 2342 pages, up from Sunday mornings 2313 for an increase of 29 pages. Once again, so close to an average of 10 pages per day we might as well call it that.

Ok the TOTAL website post count is not at 510,057 posts up from Sunday mornings 509,079. This gives us a three day increase of 978 posts and that is an average of over 320 posts per day. Looking a lot better.

Blade will be here officially in 2 more days and at this rate we MIGHT be able to give Dan, if we post really hard, a 511 Thousand Plus boasting right for his small fledgling companies website.

Ok if we remove 510,057 posts from the next goal of 750K we need to put up 239,943 posts by Blade 2012, sometime in June of next year.

Ok Sports fans the much anticpated Blade 2011 starts tomorrow! Just under 20 hours from now will officially be the day, although the doors won't be opened at midnight. Anyway, on this the Day before, lets get on with the stats.

The Knives Forum section has now gotten up to 484,115 posts up from yesterdays 483,916 for a 199 post increase.

The ZDC page count is now at 2346 up from 2342 for 4 pages of increase.

The TOTAL website post count is now at 510,260 posts up from yesterdays 510,057 for a total post increase of 233 posts.

So using these new numbers, on this the day before Blade states we still need 239,704 posts to reach the 750,000 post goal by Blade of 2012.

We will have one more update before Blade opens it's doors so watch for the exciting culmination tomorrow morning.

OK, On this the first day of Blade 2011 (The doors will open in about 7 hours, here are our statistics, the LAST ONES before blade is OFFICIALLY open for business. So in order to maintain our readership let's get this done before the show begins!

The Outdoors and Fieldcraft section is now at 21,641, up one post from yesterdays 21,640.

The Knives Forum section is now at 484,279, up 164 posts from yesterdays 484,279.

The ZDC page count is now setting at 2351 pages, up from yesterdays 2346 for an in crease of 5 pages.

As I type this the TOTAL POST COUNT for the website is now at 510,426 posts up from yesterdays 510,260 for an increase of 166 posts.

If we subtract our present high post count from the 750K goal we now need 239,574 posts. How close will we get by Blade 2012 coming our way in June 2012?

I want to personally thank every single person that posted, so we could give Dan a 500 Thousand post website to talk about at Blade 2011. It's been fun and It's been informative. Let's keep it up, to leave EVERYONE in our dust!
