Well to be honest I figured there would be more chatter on what is at Blade but maybe they are all still eating and having fun?

WELCOME TO BLADE 2011! A lot was learned yesterday and a lot more questions were given birth to. Only time will be able to answer the questions as to new models/specs and when they will actually be coming out.

So On with the stats on this the beginning of the second day of Blade 2011.

The Outdoors and fieldcraft section is at 21,644 up 3 posts from yesterdays 21,641.

The Knives Forum section is at 484,628 up 349 posts from yesterdays 484,279.

The ZDC page count is now at 2362, up 11 pages from yesterdays 2351.

The TOTAL post count for the website is now up to 510,778 up 352 posts from yesterdays 510,426.

Ok using this set of numbers and taking it from 750K we are left with 239,222 posts to get by June roughly the middle of June 2012.

Hey Blade is here for another two days and TEMPORARILY all is well in Busseland! Stand by for more from the Geniuses of Wauseon! All I gotta say is that Swamp water must be some good stuff!

My my my. Another day down another day dawning. This the last day of blade 2011 brought shouts of Joy for some and tears of sorrow for others. Such is life in the world of limited supply that is in large demand. Some will cherish their acquisitions, while others are only looking at dollar signs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Only time will tell the results of this culmination of another historic happening in the world of Knifedom. So on that note, lets get on with the stats from our own private part of the knife universe.

The Outdoors and fieldcraft section is now at 21,646 posts up from yesterdays 21,644 for a two post increase in this section.

The Knives forum section is now up to 484,935 posts up from yesterdays 484,628 for a 207 post increase in this section.

The ZDC page count has gone from 2362 pages up to 2368 for an increase of 6 pages.

Ok, the TOTAL post count for the website is now up to 510,988 posts, up from yesterdays 510,778 yesterday morning. This gives us an increase of 210 posts over yesterday morning.

OK here's where we now stand in our relentless, unstoppable march to the THREE QUARTERS OF A MILLION post goal. We now, on the last day of blade 2011 we now need 239,012 posts. Quite a lot to accomplish in 12 months, but we know we can knock out 100,000 in a year, all we gotta do is get to interacting with each other and The Management/Crew at our favorite Knife company. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

On this, the last day of blade 2011 at 0741 Busse Daylight savings time Jroden5446 made history as he posted the 511 thousandth post! Way to Go Yard, Way to go Jared!

Ok another work night and another update. Had to search high and low for this one, it along with it's companion the daily word had slipped to page 2. Guess there must have been something else that was taking over the chatter this past weekend, although I don't know what it could have been. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Ok, the Outdoors and fieldcraft section is now at 21,662 posts up from Sunday mornings 21,646 for a 16 post increase.

The Knives Forum is now standing at 485,387 posts up from Sunday's 484,935 for a 452 post increase.

The ZCD page count is now at 2379 pages up from Sundays 2368 for a 11 page increase.

Ok the biggie, the TOTAL post count for the website is now at 511,556 up from Sundays 511,000 for a total of 556 posts!

Blade is over for another year, but from all the forthcoming new releases I think we shall have something to talk about for some time to come. I'll start if off just by saying "Bring it on"!

Ok now that folks are starting to get their wind back we now need 238,444 posts go reach the next rung up the ladder to 1 Million posts. I think that we can give it a good shot seeings how we now have 12 months to go.

The ZDC page count has gone from 2379 pages yesterday morning up to 2386 pages today for an increase of 7 pages!

Ok for the big numbers.
The TOTAL post count for the entire website is now setting at 511,885 posts, up from yesterdays 511,556 for 329 post increase for the entire site.

our NEW goal numbers are that we now need 238,115 posts to reach the next goal of three fourths of a million posts.

We have a goal now, JUNE 8-10 2012 AT THE COBB GALLERIA IN ATLANTA. Lets go DOGS! So we need to average 19,842.9 posts per month or about 5000 posts a week.

Hey Skunk, Theres some numbers that don't add up. Theres a 2K post count difference between today and yesterdays O&F section (21,672 & 23,662)
and the average goal of 19K a month or 5K a month (I'm sure you meant 5K a week) I may be just picking at nits here, but I know you're human. thanks for the updates <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I HAVE been known to screw the numbers up. I try hard not to but I guess my OLDTIMERS is kicking in!

Well it SHOULD have be "Of the Year"!(and it does say 2011) Ooooooh DAAAAAN!

Let's see IF I can get the numbers right today.

Ok the Outdoors and fieldcraft section is showing 21,672 posts, same as yesterday morning.

The Knives Forum section is now up to 485,926 posts up from yesterdays 485,705 for a post count increase of 221.

The ZDC page count has gone from 2379 yesterday up to 2391 this morning for a 12 page increase.

The GRANT TOTAL POST count is now up to 512,105, Yup we have gotten ourselves into the 512K range now and are ever climbing! Anyway, we are up from 511,885 posts yesterday morning for a post count increase of 220 posts posts. Not to awful bad, almost an average of 10 posts per hour.

Subtracting this new higher number from the 3/4 Mil goal we still need to get 237,895 posts and about 51 weeks to get there.

Ok It's the first weekend after Blade 2011 and by most all accounts it was a resounding success! Here's to hoping the Yard at least gets the new crop released in the aftermath thereby fostering the continuation of a feeding frenzy! (Oh you can start with the 911 Dan)!

Well it's been a full week since the last day of Blade 2011 and folks are STILL talking about it, and probably will be yet for some time. We'll see how much more posting it generates.

The Outdoors and Fieldcraft section is now up to 21,694 from 21,676 yesterday an 18 post increase.

The Knives Forum section is now up to 486,416 posts from yesterdays 486,159, a 257 post increase.

The ZDC page count is now up to 2402 pages up from yesterdays 2397 for a 5 page increase.

The TOTAL post count is now at 512,618, up from yesterdays 512,314 for an increase of 287 posts.

With this new high we now need 237,382 posts and still have just days less than a full 12 months to get there. We probably won't make the full 237K plus posts, but we can sure get about half or better out the door.
