My initial thought was "wow...that's it, was hoping for something a little more innovative". Then I realized how much I really like the shorter Regulator, and how the changes are actually quite perfect. The bowie styling of the original has not grown on me (preference), and I need a really good mid-range camping knife. These 6.5 Regs fit the bill!!

PLUS...I LOVE the SYKCO branding. It's the 5LA that I always use, and it sticks! Good marketing choice, Big Dog!

I WILL have them!! Bring on the trough stomp! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Also wanted to state that I like the rounded choil also <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Hey Big Dog...any chance for a shorter Sheath to match? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Wonder if they would fit in a "Short" Combat Master? They say only up to 6"...but curious how it might fit.

Oh...who am I kidding...I'll just email Jeff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Dan...the question has been asked on BF, but figured I'd cross post here to get info from the creator: Are the 6.5 Regs SR101 as well?

I just can't see paying over $300 for those pretty little steak knives, but to each his own. The Mil Overrun 6.5" Regulators are the best deals I see. As you would expect from Scrap Yard.

Good summary. I think a regulator attempt will be made for this ganza. If successful, I may re-home a rat or two.

I wish I had more news on when the Scrapivore LE I ordered will be hitting my card.

I love the new SYKCO logo on the 6.5" blade Regulators.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I just deleted my rant on credit, as I thought it would be best to simply say "wait". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

With a Bird Dog, Weiner Dog, Swamp Warden and a Scrapivore CG when they become available I'm with you HD. While I'd like to see a 10" Mil Reg that 6.5" jungle green is calling my name <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />.

Now if the rest of you will just order the desert one so they they don't run out before they get to my email..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I had debated talking down the 6.5 Regs...just so none of you stingy Dogs would take a chance on getting in line! Then I righted my ethics, and chose the path of competition..../sigh. I hope there's enough to go around for the hungry Dogs! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I will have to look it over tonight. From what I am hearing there might be some interesting stuff. I know I held a SLUT at the Tulsa show and it was nice and light, but not my thing.
