Hello from East Texas. I am a Steel Worker living in the Normangee Area. I am an avid outdoorsman and put most of the knives I buy through hard use. In my line of work I have appreciation for quality steel. After reading about the Busse Knives on countless survival and outdoor forums I took the plunge and bought a RMD And a HRLM. I can now say I finally own some real knives. Please excuse my ignorance as I learn more about these great knives and hopefully make a few friends along the way. I have included in this post a photo of the two knives I bought recently, and I don't intend for them to be safe queens for long. Regards- ![[Linked Image from i842.photobucket.com]](http://i842.photobucket.com/albums/zz341/fhm615/IMG_9162.jpg)

Hello there and welcome to the Yard. Look like you have a great start to the Bussekin addiction!

Welcome aboard!
However, I have to say...Normangee is NOT East Texas (I'm from Hallsville, originally. I used to burn a few rods back in my highschool days...worked for a little place called Stansteel making asphalt plants. Good times.

BTW...welcome aboard Be sure to pick up a Res-C handled knife when you get a chance! Love my SYKCO's!

Welcome to the Yard FHM. The Ratmandu and HRLM are both very comfortable knives to use, and both have great edge retention. You picked two of my favorites.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
