I'm so sorry to hear this Yote. It's just like loosing a human member of the family. They give us so much pleasure and companionship, they truly do become our kids.

Bill, I'm sorry to hear the news. Nothing I can say will take away the hurt, but Myke is right. They give us their love, and in the end we love them and don't let them suffer. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. +1 I'm very sorry Bill.

It sucks loosing a good dog that has been apart of ones life for a long time. Thoughts and prayers sent for the emotional time.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. It is extremely hard to put down a pet or lose one. I had to put both my cats down within a year due to cancer (I had both since kittens and they were 14 yrs old)...It was very tough to do but the right thing to do. Part of pet ownership is that we will bring home these pets and love them and provide for them knowing that someday, inevitably, their life will end and we will have to see to it that it is as peaceful and pain-free as possible. We are their guardians and the tough job at their life's end is the price we must pay for the many years of love and enjoyment that they provide for us. We are their guardians to the end. Very sorry for your loss...Remember the great times you shared and look forward to many more years with another dog.
