Well, here is the new knife in pics to prove it did indeed happen.

I figured I'd throw in pics of my new camera bag from Clik Elite, backpack and versipack from Maxped.

In the pic blow you can see where I have a Paratchutemandu (spelling?) on the shoulder strap. As soon as I get my tan Kydex in the mail, I will be replacing that blade with the Reg. 6.5. This is my hiking/camping rig and there is no need for double edged blade. I prefer the Reg for camping. The Mandu will remain in my deployment gear.

Nice gear, I've been thinking about getting one of those versipacks.

Nice setup JJ. Do you have the versipack attached to the condor or is it just rotated around to the front?

I sewed buckles to the versipack so it snaps to the waistband of the Condor II. You can run the waist strap through the back of the versipack, but it tends to slide side to side. I didn't like that on my last hike, so I fixed it. Versipack on left. Condor on right. You can see my stitching to the left of the buckles.

If I saw you loaded up like that hiking up the trail at me, I'd go off trail and hide till you past by!

You wear some serious packs when you trot out!!!

Peace.

Congrats on the blade, and your rig looks very good for hicking and picture taking. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the 6.5 JJ.
I like the way you attached the versipack to the waist belt of the condor, very ingenious.
Are you going to put the cord cutter notch in the 6.5 sheath too? That was another great idea IMO.
Also, can you still use the condor waist belt without the versipack attached?

I'm a big fan of Maxpedition stuff, I've got some stuff that I've been using for almost 10 years. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
