IF I have any of our tax refund left, I've been thinking of ordering a Blk/Blk Boss Jack. The LE is definately out of my price range though.

I suppose I could sell several of my rats or dogs to buy one Busse, but I ask myself, "Why would I do that?"

I thought about selling my DF, which would get me almost there, but I'd hate to part with it. All my other blades get used at least every now and then, most of them for specific reasons. So I can't answer that question of "Why would I do that?" either.

I went after 1 CG and 1 LE. So far I have received my CG and it cuts way better than my proto. And it is balanced better too. The LE should be even nicer.
I ordered a choiless version, so it will be a little while longer for those.
I think the new Boss Jack is worth checking out. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was excited when the prototype Boss Jacks were released at Knob Creek, and really wanted to love them. However, they felt blade-heavy to me when I got to hold them, so I placed a couple proxy orders, but didn't get any for myself. Many folks like a heavier blade, but it just wasn't what I expected. The next show, I really liked the Boss Jack that was part of the Desert Warfare set, which surprised me. I decided that it must have been a case of having overly high expectations of the protos, then being happy with the CGs due to lower expectations. I'm somewhat relieved to hear that there really is a difference in balance -- it wasn't just me being fickle.
