My Mellon isn't really THAT big, but I sometimes think that it is! Then someone usually comes along with a straight pin and.... well you know. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I DO try and not take myself TO seriously, nobody likes someone that is so full of themselves that they don't have room for anyone else.

They created a whole government agency just to regulate my favorite things.

Boss Hog has a shirt that reads

"Alcohol

Tobacco

and Fire Arms

Who's bringing the chips"

Says it all <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Dan

I like the sound of that shirt! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

A great pic.

I am not familar with Laphroaig...is that a scotch?

Dan

I'm a bourbon drinker and this is my favorite scotch. Not that I've tried too many, but this is a stand-out for me. For people I've polled, it's a love it or hate it thing. Lots of delicious peat smoke and rich flavor in Scotch from Islay Island.

Great picture.

Nice pic,I've always wanted to try the 35 Whelen.
What rifle are you shooting it out of?
Wasn't it Remington that introduced the first commercial loading in conjunction with that years offering of the 700 classic?
Not sure of the year, but it was in the 80s.

My whelen is in a Ruger hawkeye stainless. I handload 225gr tsx at ~2700fps and call it good. Ain't much that walks that I'd be afraid of taking with that gun/load.

I know that remington was the first to comercially load it but I'm not sure what rifle the introduced it in.
