So I open carry all over Oregon parks and forests with no hassles. I see more groups carrying than not, and never seemed to spook anyone or have a Ranger look twice.
I need advise from anyone about carrying in the California Redwoods. From what I understand I can open carry but the pistol has to be unloaded <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" /> but carry loaded at my campsite.
Anyone have real world experience with this?
Oh and any problems with large knives?
