I would love to see a Scrapyard knife produced between 5 and 7 1/2inces in blade length at about .20 to 0275 in thickness, preferably out of SR-77, but SR-101 would be ok. Is there any chance of something like that coming in the not so distance future? Are there any other Dogs out there that would be interested in a blade like that?

Make that about a 10" to 12" blade, Tali-Whacker style, and I'm with you!

They are great knives too!

The Dumpster Mutt is .280 and 5 inches.

The Scrapper Six 6 inches .275 thick and then that Son of Dog Father,

Seven and a half long and .250 thick. All in SR-77 as you wished for!

I know this is your third post and you must be dieing to own some of those.

Try the other blade forums that sell on the secondary market. Or E-Bay ,they have all kinds of goodies from time to time.

As for Scrap Yard re-releasing a knife I don't know. I still think Dan has a few more designs up his sleeve before he does models a second time.

At least I hope he has some more!

Those knifes and dimensions are out there. I think most of us would like a new blade too!

Welcome Mutt!!

Peace.

Echoing what Peace said above, I want to say the SOD (Son Of Dogfather) is pretty much what you're looking for, they are often at shows so not particularly hard to get if you can go to a show or if you can find a proxy.

This also means they are often for sale after shows at the Bladeforums exchange, so look out after this next Knob Creek.

Steel: SR-77
Hardness: 58 - 60 Rc
Handle: Resiprene C

Thickness: .250"
Blade Length: 7 1/2"
Overall Length: 12 1/2"

Try setting up a google alert - they are excellent. It delivers results to your inbox and lets you stay on top.

Keywords to include
For sale FS and make sure you do -spf -sold so you don't get results which have closed.

The alert tab lets you test results.

Good luck!
