The hook kinda turns me off. I prefer the sister knife, the Yard Guard I believe it was. Same basic knife but no hook.

I still want a Yard Guard. The thing about the Yard Hook is I could have used the bottle opener the other day on some Dos Esquies.

I think you'll need to take a small file or dremel to widen the hook's gap and to point it in order to open bottles well. I recall that Horn Dog posted about modding his.
