I've always liked the AD- figured it was a good, handy small knife. Just got an all black MP and am impressed with it. It's a little tank! I was a day away from pulling the trigger on a Swamp RS, but when I saw the MP's popping up, I realized my favorite blades in the last year have been Dan's 154cm with mudders.
I'm figuring the MP and AD are really close...except in price! :)

You have a Muppy, you don't need the AD,fugetaboudit Actually,I,ve always wanted an AD too. Had a Game Warden, didn't like it,traded it. Had a High Street, loved it,but traded it too. Have you checked out the High Street? They feel good in hand & the thumb ramp is great for choking up. An AD is still on my list & so is the RS. I'll probably get the RS first just because of the price difference. But you can't beat the Yards 154CM.
SYKCO JYD#112 It's better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it.

Here's some mudder love. Don't know the specs, but feels as hefty as the Muk. It's off today for a little Horn Dog- 3rd world grind shop love! Great blade, but Lord, it came dull! No AD for me! No need for it now! ![[Linked Image from i432.photobucket.com]](http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq47/richneal68/IMG_3279-1.jpg)

Never had a AD, held them though. The MPLE I have is a lot more comfortable.

I like ADs, but mainly went for BADs. Honestly though, there's probably not much that the MP wouldn't do just as well as a BAD at, and for a lot less money. I believe an AD would out-pry a MP (they're stout), but the MP should out-slice it (and be lighter to carry).
For the sake of those going to Blade, I hope Dan has some more MP CGs in the works -- My opinion is that they're the front-runner for Bussekin's "bang for the buck" prize. DM CGs are also a strong contender, but I'll go with the mudder handle.

You can't beat the mudder handle IMHO. Yes that MPCG price is hard to beat.

That mutt Jared got from KC looks very nice...

I never could quite warm up to the AD, although I do have one for patterning. I too much prefer the MP and those awesome Mudder handles!
