I was just watching a rerun of Destination Truth from last week called the Tree people of Thailand or something like that. It was in the first half of the episode and they are in the jungle. The one guy cuts up some fruit with a knife that looked kind of like a SY... It was only for a few seconds and with a crying baby in the room it was hard to tell.

Anyone see this episode? Maybe Dan can shed some light!

I have not seen this episode so I am not sure. I will tell you that we are popping up in a lot of shows that we have not been notified of...pretty cool!

Keep your eyes open and let us know what you Dogs see out there

I found a Youtube video that shows two scenes in which the knife can be seen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0n9H0wqs0o

At 1:09 the knife is in the sheath and it does not look like a Scrapyard handle. At 1:39 you can see the blade in use. I am still not sure.

That looks for all the world to me to be a Deregulator, has the same handle contour.

as soon as I posted that, the blade rotated in the footage, and the tip doesn't look like a Dereg... not pointy enough <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

The blade looks a little thin for a Reg or SOD, but it does make me think a lot of the SOD profile.

I think when it was in the sheath I saw a couple reflections like rivets holding the handle on. And the blade profile reminded me a lot of an ESEE.
