I am a huge fan of Busse, but for some odd reason my favorite knife to use on everything is the Bird Dog. But I never see any love for the Bird Dog, or ever see this amazing knife listed on the exchange. So is this knife a serious cult favorite that no one talks about. Because this knife is a monster tool for the sportsman. So the really reason for this post is Dan how about an ORANGE handle.

D Phill, I don't think all that many were produced although I am probably wrong. But I DO know that the folks that got them love them!

Oh where are my manners, WELCOME to the Yard! The best place ever. Dan and Jerry makes some fine blades, no contest. AND they have a loyal and friendly following. We have a very civil site and Dan stresses the FAMILY FRIENDLY aspect as far as language and fussing. Something you will hardly ever see here. If you haven't done so, read the rules and regulations on the main index page and HAVE FUN! Don't be shy about joining in, the more the merrier!

Welcome to the Yard.
As to the BDLE, it is one of my most used knives from the Yard. I love it, the sweep of the blade, the mudder handle, the Bussefied 154CM, just a great blade. I was singing it's praises again last night in the Zombie Chat.

Welcome to the Yard, DP!

Hard to go wrong with Busse 154cm and Mudders, the BDLE is great, admittedly I haven't used mine a whole lot though, but I'll use it more as the opportunities present themselves.

Welcome to the yard Dirtyphill.

I use my BDLE quite a bit in the kitchen. Its great for cutting up meat and boning chicken.

That would be sweet to see the Bird dog re-released with a orange handle.

Love?

There's always much love for any Scrap Yard release!

In my home we integrate our Scrappers into our daily life.

We love them all. Just because they don't stay on top of the threads Phill
doesn't mean no love. Just that every new release takes center stage for that era.

Back when the Bird Dog was let loose, there was so much love my wife asked me if there was someone else, because I never stopped smiling and had a goofy look on my face!

Love? Plenty!!

Peace.

I know I'd love to find a Bird Dog. It's on my short list and am continuously looking on the Blade Forum.
