Man that flint is nice looking. Wild how the area can affect the color of the flint. Dark Bluish black flint like you have is not common around our house. White and Brown seem very dominate with some pink.

Yah thats true. I have gotten pretty good and know what to look for. Our area to look is always better after the field gets plowed.

Its been raining so much that the farmers haven't been able to turn the soil over yet.

Its been raining so much that the farmers haven't been able to turn the soil over yet. Bummer. I know over here in Cornstate they have started down the road, so hopefully soon.

Very nice finds. Down here in OK the flint is more white and some grey. Love the thread!
