Biggest benefit of a big folder is a good grip. I have a couple leeks that I like, but I like my military more because it gives me leverage to cut more than an envelope with.

Entrek has some interesting new large folders. Price is not bad either. Would like to see one in 154CM though

Works great! It would be really cool if the Yard made a Scandi grind blade

I don't own a folder with a blade less than 3.5" (yet), so I guess I like them. Carry limit here is 4" so I don't have anything over that, but I really don't carry anything that's over 3.5" other than my Military.

The original Manix is one of my all time favorite knives but it always felt a little big to carry, but the Millie is so light/thin, that it's not really any different to carry for me than my smaller knives. I also don't usually like the feel in hand, but I LOVE the way the Military feels. Really does feel smaller after you get used to it, despite the long handle.

I def recommend trying to anyone that hasn't, I never thought I would like them until I actually got one.

In CA, folders are legally concealble, fixed blades are not. Hence I carry my folders much more often (DAILY) than my busses/bussekin (1x per week).
That also means no fixed blades INSIDE my BOB or GHB, just folders.

I love my sebenzas (lg and small), ritter m4 wilkins, and my still nib ZT0350CB. I'm really looking forward to the zt/hinderer 0561/0561.
Also my ZT 0551 preorder hasn't arrived yet

I carry a big folder 3 or 4 days a week. I like the optino of having alot of knife on me in settings where a fixed blade is just not discrete enough, like the office. This is my main "big folder".

Holy smoke, I had forgotten about that knife! Bet no one can even tell you have it in your suit pocket!

@Randy That beast has a low ride clip so it fits on to a pair of dockers very nicely.

@Tobo The maker of that folder is Medford Knife and Tool down the street from my house here in Phoenix AZ. The maker is a friend who instructed my brother. The folder has titanium slabs, an S30V blade and a solid lockup.

I need one of those Ron. I am having problems with the nerve in my right hip at times and if I had one of those I could carry it on my left side. That way i would be leaning to the left and my right would never touch the ground! Problem solved. You've got my address and thank you in advance!
