Hey guys like I was talking about in the Death Chat last night. My dad picked up my Muppy on random yesterday and was like the tip is bent. I dont think it is but perhaps you can take a look and see? My big dog is in the background sleeping lol.

Well to my aged eyes, the first pic it DOES seem to be off center to the left just a bit (if it was to the right it would be OK)hehe. But in the other pics it looks ok to me. I even put a pencil over the pic and it seemed to line up ok for me. I think maybe it is just an optical illusion because of the lighting.

Lay the spine down on a piece of paper and draw a line along and as close to the blade as you can. Then look at the lines you drew. Might help. Otherwise I don't think I would bother with it.

I was going to say that not all puppies are straight, but I'm not.

I would check it with a straight edge. Looks fine to me.

Thanks for not doing that with your Weiner dog. Bent Weiners are you own business

In the first picture if you will look you have a bright shiny line along the right side. Along the left side it is dark. That might give it an appearance of being bent.

I agree, comparing your blade to your dogs butt isn't very scientific!

No its not. I agree with Randy. I think from were the edge got hit some when I was batoning has made it shinier giving it the illusion of being bent. Thanks fellas!

I know uneven grinds will make a knife look bent. Have you sharpened it since receiving it?

You're not what? You're not going to say that? Or you're not straight? Hart, I am soooo confused <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Actually, it just looks like a slightly uneven grind, not a bent tip. But that's just me.

I guess I should have proofread that! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

"I was going to say that not all puppies are straight, but I'm not" going to say that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

All I'm saying is that some puppies just naturally point in other directions: left, right up, down -genetics.
