Hey guys. So today not even two hours ago me my mom, my grandma andy brother were on our way to do some shopping. My brother was driving he is on a driving permit. As we were crossing an intersection that is notorious for wrecks My brother pulles out and we were struck by an oncoming car. It hit the front of the car from the left and totalled the front the hood was nearly fully ripped off. My brother didnt see the person coming. Luckily no one was hurt in the slightest. A second or two longer and me and my grandma would have been t boned by a car going 55 at least. I thank God that no one was hurt or killed. My dad and grandma could have been planning 3-4 funerals today. Take a minute to hug your kids, wife, family and friends because a few seconds could make the difference in seeing them again. This is making me think about leaving my phone number in my profile in case you dont hear from me within a week or so on the forums. Anyways yah glad i can come tell you guys this.

Glad you and your mom, grandma, and brother are ok.. young brother.... I lost my oldest daughter in a car wreck about 4 years ago... You are very right.. it can happen in an instant... just another reason to never part on harsh words.. or go to bed angry... you never know when your last words will be...

As the others have said, I'm glad to hear that you and your family were not badly hurt. Bummer about the car, and I'm sure there will be some aches if the impact was that hard, but it sure could have been worse. Be careful.

Glad you guys are fine. I recall my first car accident, clearly. We broke the rear axle on a dead raccoon trying to avoid it, and rolled the car 5 times. I was terrified to even get into a car for almost 6 months. I know how it feels looking at that maw. Stay safe brother!

lol, yep. We had to kill off a family of raccoons that were killing niehgborhood cats last year. I wasn't about to lose mine to the little robbers.

I actually only killed the mother off, the kits mostly ended up getting hit by cars on the busy main street nearby.
