Ah cool to know especially as I have it probably third hand! It is a great sturdy setup - good craftsmanship!

Yeah I almost had him make me one a couple years ago, but at the time all I had was the DF and I didn't want a setup that big and heavy. Should have gotten one anyway! ANYWHO, just go over to the Swamp Rat site and post a pic of it asking who made it and I KNOW you will get an answer, and maybe even when it was made!

the way i want it is with the small knife laying on top of the big knife at a slightly backward angle, does this orientation make sense? I've seen setups like this. anywaay, comunicating with Rainwalker right now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Allright Dogs. Decision time. Leather or Kydex?
Kydex: Lightweight Doesn't retain water
Leather: Beautiful but Retains water Weighs more
For all practical intents and purposes, kydex is the way to go.
Any other pros or cons gentlemen?

Oh, and I was also thinking of a Crocodile dundee style rig for concealed carrying the DMDC as well. Ever since i saw that movie, i've always thought it was ingenious and wanted to carry a knife like that. Up here in AK, it's not really necessary to carry a medium fixed blade concealed, but there are some places/occasions where it is a good idea.
