I voted Bushcraft blade but would rather it have a blade length of about 4"-5".
I think SR101 would be the perfect steel for a scandi grind, failing that a nice thin full flat would do !

Yeah, I think a 5" bushy would be cool...I'd take full flat or scandi or full convex as well. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> To my knowledge, SY has never done a true bushcraft knife...even though many of their releases could be used for the purpose.
Closest to it for me are the Muppy, SS4 and the S5 but none of those are true bushies.

HD asked the same thing last year.Dan listens. http://www.scrapyardknives.com/ubbthread...part=2&vc=1We got the necker & sword,now it's time for a chopper for the chopperholics. Or an axe/hatchet. The yard is the only bussekin without a hatchet/axe. They've all pretty much duplicated the other blade styles.

I would love a folder, I carry a cqc7 everyday and would then carry the SY daily.
