Whats the story on sterile blades. Military overuns?

I didn't vote because I have a similar dilemma. I recently got a mint RatMastiff and while I know I will use it eventually, it is hard that first time because it is so pretty. Thankfully I have a user Ratweiler to beat on while I decide on the RatMastiff. I say take your time before you decide one way or another. If it's a definite keeper than I would say use it, but if you think you may want to sell/trade it down the line it may be worth keeping new.

If you have a user of similar size and shape, save it. if not, use it!

+1 You can always use it for trade material for another blade that your lusting after.

All the Busse kin brands used to make a lot more sterile blades... I'm not really sure what the story is... I like them with a stamp of some kind better myself, although that doesn't make me love my sterile blades any less though.

There's likely going to be an even BIGGER chopper released at the Swamp soon. Maybe sell this to fund that? Just a thought

I vote for using it. But then again I have several blades I have not used since I have others in the same size that I do use. but my rationalizing is that I have them. I am at a constant battle to keep, sale, or trade stuff that I have not used. I would rather buy used blades anyway, then the first swing or use is not too bad LOL.

I should ammend my post about using it, first, I wasnt going to use mine, but I liked the way it felt in hand sooooo much, that I found another for a user , a second gen ratweiler, it didn't feel the same, so I scored a user, first gen, STILL didn't feel as good in hand as my sage ratweiler, that is what made me turn my safe queen into a user finally

queen it if you have a similar blade. i'm not a fan of the 7" chopper category anyway, so i wouldn't bother using it.

a 7" slicer, on the other hand, i would love and endorse using.

I am in the same boat, the first swing is the hardest, once you break the ice you will smile like a little kid on Christmas, enjoy
