This is the first release of a SYKCO knife that I've been able to participate in from hints to pics to release and withdrawal.

If WD is made from scraps of INFI left over from Busse blades, then possible maximum quantity produced will be finite and predetermined by quantity of those particular Busse blades produced.

If it made from stock INFI, then maximum quantity produced is determined by Dan's order size, and MAY be a variable number that depends on criteria such as: how many sell in a certain period of time, or number required to produce a certain level of profitability due to scales of economy, or Jerry's willingness to depart with said stock.

That said, I'm considering a 2nd order and am trying to justify it.

I am just curious as to why Dan said " Good luck getting in on this " To me that means like 100 knives tops and I would think they have sold that many.

well, I was able to add 999 to cart, so I suspect real-time inventory is not an indicator of quantity available.

Dan said something similar when the S5LE came out. And there ended being plenty of those to go around

I could start my own pound!

As an effective business strategy, that tactic would have to be used at the VERY beginning of the offering. Assuming there were finite # available, I would have a monopoly on them.
