We've seen Jared's photos, who else has been getting them out and dirty? Lets hear it all!

I carried mine all day today on some yard projects, cutting up wood planks, fish bait, removing extra paint/ stucco blobs and I cut up a bunch of kiwi with it too. I really dig this knife

carried mine also today, I have a old remington sheath that fits alright till I get one made. it does take a bit to get used to the new handle shape and how skinny it is(blade height) but I really like it the more I use it. it is also extremely light and quick in hand. I did make a quick feather stick and it did good, cut tags off a bunch of new shirts to. nothing serious but so far I likie. cooking out to night so will use it there also for the steaks.

Haven't had the blade thickness be an issue yet, the zero edge really helps to counter act the thickness

Same for me....although I've only experienced kitchen duty thus far. Cut up squash, broccoli, onions, jalepenos and tomatoes last night for dinner....the War Dog did great! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The chief cause of unhappiness and failure is trading what you want most in life for what you want at the moment.

That's great for a thicker blade! The thickest blade that I have that does very well in the kitchen is the S5. I don't know how Dan made that such a good slicer!

My SY Muk and S5 are eager for my War Dog to get here for a comparison!

I love how we all use a new knife to do silly little things like cutting tags off shirts. I do the same thing. Like the War Dog is really needed to do that. LOL.

A far cheaper hobby... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm not sure if this counts, but the back of my hand is bald now.

well did good on food(steaks), kinda funny cuz my buddy says it looks like a steak knife on steroids, not sure it will ever replace my scrapper 5 le though. that and the RMD are just about as perfect as a 5 inch knife could get imo. last year I dressed out a buck and a doe with a fallkniven F1 and this is close(sort of) and think the smaller blade height will be better for cutting out the anus. would be neat to see a RMD blade with this handle in infi call it the Ruff man du. lol
