I got all my SCRAPYARD LE's out today for a family photo. All of these are new from SCRAPYARD and by far the S5LE is the sharpest. The regulator is right behind the s5. They are way sharper than the war dog and scrapivore. I was wondering if any of you old dogs might notice your more recent purchases from the yard not being delivered as Sharp as knives from the past. ![[Linked Image from i804.photobucket.com]](http://i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy328/raisin-cain/IMAG0041.jpg)

Nice LE's. I got in on the WD, but I hesitated on the Regulator and S5 and regretted it. My WD will slice an envelope but not shave the hair on my arm. I'm very happy with the knife. As far as sharpness goes I didn't know what to expect since it was my first Scrap Yard blade.

I got my WD in today. I like the knife but it is by far the dullest of all the Busse-kin Blades I have owned. My regulator was shaving sharp. The WD won't cut paper reliably.

Man! Didn't realize the regulator was so much knife. Gotta find me one of those now!

I have never really messed with convex edges. There are places that will sharpen them for a Buck or two an inch. That's probably what I will do.
It did burst my enthusiasm a bit having it so dull.

My War Dog was really nice and sharp, even more so after I stropped it. I know that the blades I have picked up from the early releases through the SOD was not that sharp, but the next crop is. Don't know. Why would it cost 45 to ship the knives to Scrap Yard?

Very nice photos. As stated in a previous post, the edge of my War Dog came very sharp (my left arm will prove it.). However, the tip did come rather blunt. Due to the time it took from release to delivery, it's possible that the War Dogs were rushed a little bit, especially with Blade right around the corner. Still, it is an excellent little knife, and I have no regrets picking it up.
I wish I knew about SYKCO when they released the S5LE. That looks like a perfect all around blade.
