Can anyone recommend a good slingshot/wrist catapult?

Preferably one where the piece that goes over your wrist folds up for easy storage/transportation.

Thought I did a post a about the slingshot I bought in the .22lrmor less thatead but I guess I forgot to post it.

I ended up buying a Trumark slingshot for around $10 from a chain sprorts store. I don't recall the model number but it was a basic slingshot with the wrist brace attachment. After reading a couple days on the net it seemed to really come down to buying a known name. The Trumark I bought has done a really good job so far.mActually better than I expected. It does have the simple folding wrist part and it seems to be holding up and working just fine. I took he wrist brace off at first but soon realized it really does help a good bit. It made my wrist sore for the first few days after using it but its not an issue anymore. By the time I broke the first band broke I was able to place dollar store marbles on a 1 litter bottle at about 25 to 30 with full power shots probably 8 out of 10 tries. I expect I will be 10 for 10 by the time a go through a second band. Oh and I tried some shots at around 25 yards and I was amazed at how close I could get. A few times I managed to study the curve of the marble and get within inches of the target. Never did actually hit the target (4" knot on a tree) though.

Good luck.. Would like to know what you come up with.

I had a wristrocket that folded up like that when I was a kid. I think I got it at Kmart, but that was a very long time ago.

Here is a couple, mine was just like the marksman wristrocket. I really like the looks of the Barnett Black Widow model.

They all seem like good candidates, unfortunately after a little more reading I've come to the conclusion that you can't legally own a slingshot in Philly <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Add that to the list of stupid laws, like not being able to own an air rifle or carry any kind of pocket knife. I really need to get out of here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

I just need to get myself together and get a CCW and a handgun since thats legal and PA is a "shall issue" state.

Idiotic that toys are illegal while having the right to buy and carry a real weapon.

I happened to buy one yesterday for my Truck BOB. I like this one because the sights actually tell you whether the band is straight or not when pulling back which makes a big difference in accuracy.

Like pork I heard <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> never had it. Would have thought it was closer to rabbit, which I love.

Ive been knocking off a few squirrels around my folks house. just been using my air gun but I may try the slingshot forthe next few..

it seems we have some pretty decent size squirrels. I offered them to my folks to eat but no takers even though my mom says she has eaten plenty in he day. I haven't been able to bring myself to try and clean one. I almost hate to waste them since Ill pretty much eat anything. they are a nuisance and after shooting 4 of them there still seems to be at least 3 or 4 more. Will try the slingshot but these squirrels are pretty jumpy.
