Hey everyone. I had to say goodbye to my mom one last time this morning, at least in this life. She had been battling liver cancer the last six months and she passed away at 230 this morning. I was right there by her side. She was 55. I will miss her. She was in pain and suffering. But she was comfortable and ready to go.
How 'bout that 1311, eh?

I'm sorry for your families loss...
I am glad that she was comfortable, ready to pass and had family with her... all enormous gifts...

D-Math, so sorry to hear about your loss, made even more terrible by her young age. Prayers for you and your family my friend. Try and concentrate on the good things, times you had together.

I'm sorry for your loss. In most respects, cancer is horrible. However, I lost my Dad to lung cancer, and would note that it provides both the victim and their family time to work through issues and come to acceptance. I know that you feel her loss deeply, but your post shows that you also knew that it was time, and can take solace in her pain ending.

Jim, I agree with you. Large cell lymphoma took my Dad at 52. No doubt EVERYONE has been touched by cancer.

I'm so sorry about your loss. I lost my mother to cancer 26 years ago, she was 55. It touches all of us. You are in my prayers
