DT, from the pry bevel on the bottom of the handle up to the curve on the main edge side is 11.5". The micarta slabs are 7.5".
I'll try to get pics up with it beside a tape measure tomorrow.
I consider it a hatchet. Not big but not to small either.
Hope that helps.

Hmm I hear these are amazing perhaps I should go for one. They are Sabre ground right?
Yes, the Ratmandu is saber ground. It is a great knife. IMO it has one of the most comfortably shaped handles of any knife that I own.

To be honest I prefer my RMD over the S5 series, even the LE.

The RMD is a great blade and look forward to hunting season kicking in so I can get out and use it.

The RMD is one of my all time favorite knives. I have one in my EDC / GHB. They are saber ground.

I love knives in the 4-5 inch range. From left are my Falkniven H1, ESEE 4, War Dog, RMD and Scrapper 5. These are probably my most carried blades, except for the War Dog since I just got it yesterday. But I've got a feeling about it.....

I bought a Ratmandu recently, green blade with tan handle, great looking knife and seems to be a good size and practical design
