i ordered the moss green scrapivore bundle and cant wait till it gets here plus from what i read around the yard a new kinfe is going to be coming out hopefully pretty soon all this excitement is killing me also how long does it normally take to get a knife in i ordered my scrapivore on july 2nd and was just in wonderment on when it would be to set my camping trip

i sent her a message today making sure that she got my order and that it didnt get lost in translation or something i never got a shipping number for it to track it or anything so i was just trying to figure it all out. i sent her a pm and it says on my home page that i never sent one but im still new to all of this here and still learning all the ropes thanks though

BCD, sometimes depending on how you "bring up" their name to send a PM it won't let you know you sent one.

Most of the time I look for their avatar and click on their name and then on the send private message.

Other times I will go to the User list and find their name and then do the send private message thing.

ok i just sent it from my address book on here i have you and some other people in it that i have conversations with more often than others so that i can get to it quicker so that may be what it has done but normally how long does it take to get one in

It depends. Sometimes a week sometimes several. With the Scrapivore I figure they have several made up, or are making several. It is not uncommon to actually get your blade before you get the shipping notice!

I know it's hard to wait, but it will be worth it. I got us some cupidvores and they are the scrapivore CG but in the pink color with three engraved hearts on the off mark side. It's a good, handy knife. Many have talked about the pry tip to dig into their hands, mine also but if you just shift it a little it becomes a non issue, at least for me and I've got chunky hands.

Oh I would recommend using the scrapivore as a neck knife. That way you will ALWAYS have it on you if you need it.

For something just a little larger but still in the neck knife area check out the Swamp Rat Swamp Warden. I have one strapped to my Lite BOB and it workes nicely. I'll edit this in a minute and put up a link so you can see it on my bag.

Hate to burst your bubble BCD, I ordered 2 Scrapivores on May 1, and still haven't received them.

I emailed Renee a copy of the order thinking it may have slipped through the cracks. My reply was "Your order is still a few weeks away from shipping. Thank you."

I believe they must have had stock already made for the initial orders but now are still making them as they get orders.

The War Dog was released after that and the new previews at Blade, with another release soon, so it looks like the vores kind of got put on the back burner.

Maybe it was just the colors I ordered and they had the greenie in stock for you. Just sayin when you order from the Busse group you may get something the next week or it may be 12 weeks. Usually you have a bit of an idea ahead of time but not always.
