Yeah its SR-101.

I would agree about the different cook times.

Quoting the post at knifetest. "After the "bleaching" you have to wire brush the surface, then soak on a baking soda solution for several hours."

I really cant wait to see the pics.

Well i used a "stainless steel" pot......lets just say its my patina pot from now on <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

lol! Yeah I thought the pot might get a nice patina. I hope it wasnt a good one. My wife would have em on a plate if I ruined one of her pots.

Well the blade is wire brushed and in the baking soda solution which i hope is baking soda and water. they weren't specific. so I will leave it for a while.

Hows it look? Did it get pitted?

He said to get the results in the pic, he did it several times. I hope it turns out nice.

looks like an interesting finish, I just prefer a natural patina myself though

I think i am going to put it in another bleach soak. Its pitted nicely but not where i want it yet
