The blades, Tan War Dog and a modded azwelke rig, Scrapper 5 in some of Steelnuts work and my sheathless (not for long) Camo CGFBM w/mags. My son has the backpack an I have my blackpowder possibles bag I made.

The reason, it was Saturday and we were itchin to see the trails. Hiked out, had lunch and then back to the lake for more fishin'







About mid-hike we stopped and made some walking staffs. Skinning down a piece wood my son came across these insect made concentric rings under the bark. Have not been able to find out which bug does this.

It was a great reason to get out of the lodge, see the trails, spend time with my son and test out the blades a bit.

The rest of the trip was furious bass fishing and peaceful sunsets.

Wow, looks like you and the family had a great time. Where to start, family time is always great but even better outdoors. The bass look good, the water clear, and the weather looked awesome. The blades are very nice too. I am so glad to see that you were able to get some time with the family outside!
