The blades, Tan War Dog and a modded azwelke rig, Scrapper 5 in some of Steelnuts work and my sheathless (not for long) Camo CGFBM w/mags. My son has the backpack an I have my blackpowder possibles bag I made.
The reason, it was Saturday and we were itchin to see the trails. Hiked out, had lunch and then back to the lake for more fishin'

About mid-hike we stopped and made some walking staffs. Skinning down a piece wood my son came across these insect made concentric rings under the bark. Have not been able to find out which bug does this.

It was a great reason to get out of the lodge, see the trails, spend time with my son and test out the blades a bit.
The rest of the trip was furious bass fishing and peaceful sunsets.
