Fontaine, they would also run the bison off a cliff and have some others at the bottom to finish the bison off. Bison hunting was very dangerous and since they did not have doctors a broken leg or gash could be deadly. Very smart in my opinion.

Very nice arrowhead! Very nice HK and WD for that matter!
My father and I found quite a bit of Native artifacts in 1988 when we were regrading his yard outside Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville Alabama). He knew someone who dated them about the same period as yours. There are a couple larger pieces including some stone implements 5" x 3".
I have everything stored in my attic. I've meant to build a shadow box, but never did it. Maybe I'll make that project a priority.

Found another point today!! Very nice.
Its broke in half though. Looks like a spear point. I will post it as soon as I get some pics of it.
Wish I would have been looking for them all this time, I would probably have a collection by now.
