Mornin' dogs

I picked up a War Dog a while back and am having trouble making up my mind
which pants for it to wear.
I'm leaning towards leather but have a question about kydex. I do have 3 kydex
sheaths but would think the non tapered Res-C handle would catch on the opening
during re entry and begin to damage the handle. Am I wrong?

What say you.

Thanks, Fred

Mine has been in and out of its Al Welke sheath a couple hundred times.

Still looks new. Some nice leather would be an option though. I just prefer the fantastic plastic

Congrats on the War Dog!

In general I prefer leather, it just looks and feels better to me, however I do find myself using kydex for certain aplications as well. A well made kydex sheath should have very little effect on the handle though, but any time you rub two things together a few thousand times there will eventually be some wear no matter what, it's inevitable. That applies evenly to leather as well as kydex though.

Just get yourself some pants for that blade and get out and enjoy it!

I really like the craftsmanship of the leather sheaths.

I prefer leather but kydex has its place. Not sure what I am going to do for the War Dog just yet.

You can't go wrong either way, I have one of Al's kydex for my war dog and it is great as are the kydex that I have from other members here for other blades. I do like leather but mostly for my firearms but not much kydex for them just personal preference.
