I have a delta 1/4 hp 1x30 inch belt grinder, I just put a coat of cold bluing on it and ran the leather belt over the entire knife to put a bit of a polish on the high areas. i will put pics up tomorrow.

I like modding stuff myself, But you got bigger stones than me. Those earlier pictures out of the bleach were scary <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />, but it looks great now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> . Look forward to the blueing, and the extent of the pitting is just right , stop while your ahead.....oh what the heck, go for it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

So I played around with the cold bluing, Birchwood Casey seemed to do the job quite nicely. It darkened all the pitting and makes it look a little deeper then it really is.

I thought a nice stainless S&W .44 would make for nice background scenery.
