Hello,

A while a go I finally found a tali-wacker on ebay and won the bidding....
Now when he wanted to ship it, the post office refused him to send it.
(because it was a knife ??????)
He lives in Canada but tried top post it in the USA....

Now I am searching that knife for a while and finally I won the bidding and now there are shipping problems...

Hopefully is there anyone that can advise me or help me out ....

By the way the tali-wacker needs some pants....

greets

Nice buy. Best I can say is another post office and say it's camping tool/outdoor utility thing/a tool...take your pick!

I used "camping tool" a few times and I haven't had any problems. Like RN says, just list if as some type of utility tool and try again.

Nice score! I'm sure there's a way to get it.

I have never had a problem with "cutting tool" or "cutting tool with holder". Including to China.

Camp Tool or Garden Tool seem to work well. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I think it's about time that the major shippers made they're tracking systems work on a more global basis. That's one of the main things most people hate about shipping international, once it leaves the Continental US, it becomes invisible until it reaches it's destination...

There are no laws preventing the shipping of a legal fixed blade knife from the post office. His just needs to package it properly and ship it. If the postperson at the post office is refusing it he needs to speak with their supervisor and request to know what section of the postal act he is violating. He is right, they are wrong!

They can however refuse to ship it if he just slapped a few stamps on the blade. It needs to be safe for them to handle!
