Someone here saw me whining on another forum that I didn't get in on the War Dog offer on time and sold me one at a very reasonable price, I hate to name him as I don't want you guys taking advantage of him in the future Shipped the knife ASAP with no BS.

It's interesting how sometimes knives you buy off the net without seeing them first are different than you expect when you see them in person. The War Dog ended up being smaller than I expected, and honestly it's more practical for me than some larger knives I own

Interesting handle, looks larger in proportion to the blade than in the pictures. Seems like a grippy material and good sized to use with gloves and cold hands in the winter.

Congrats Aimless; the WarDog is a great knife. I keep one in my pistol/emergency bag.

Nice score! As soon as I get some pants for mine, it's gonna get a LOT of use!

War Dogs Rock! Congrats on a great knife. I've used mine a little and it definitely performs better than the specs would suggest.

I love my War Dog. What's not to like, a comfy res-c handle and a razor sharp covex ground infi blade, I can't imagine not having one in my collection.

My sharpening skills are limited to wailing away with a spyderco sharpmaker, does this grind require something different?

Convex grinds sharpen with a strop or something flexible. I use sandpaper and a mouse pad. Skunkhunter changed his over to a V grind, and I'm sure others have as well. Just search for convex sharpening tips, its really not that hard.

Aimless, glad you got the WD. I can say the handle is one of the most comfortable ones I have ever handled from the Bussekin crew. As to sharpening, the mouse pad and sandpaper is a good way to start learning on a convex.
