Hi all,
I'm playing with my computer since any days on a new dagger design (no project at leat for now, just mind-storming :-).
I was prompted by a dagger's model used here in Italy in XIV and XV centuries, named Linguadibue (translation: beef's tongue)

this is the result, what do you think about? (sorry, mo measures)
Ciao! Alfredo

Thats pretty cool <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think it would look really good if you could also mimic the protruding tang at the pommel end of the original

Interesting design, double edge blades have their place, although not quite as practical as a single edge in a lot of cases, but it still looks cool though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I think I could slay some Roman Zombies with that. Great work I really like the way you made the old design modern!

Could be an interesting urban fighter, say a five incher?

Thabnks for your kind comments, mates.

@monsterdog: not sure what you really mean, maybe a pommel protruding more, as a skull-crasher?

@rainwalker: you're right, daggers ar just to stab, that's way I tryed to design it as a "camp dagger", a bit more versatile (at least, in my mind :-)

@BLD: many thanks mate!

@Hooker: thanks, it's a 6 1/2 inches blade's, maybe too much for an urban fighter, I designed this knife as a "camp dagger" good enough for CQB if needed.
