Anyone else notice there have been more users online lately? But the majority of them are Anonymous and "Viewing Users Profile".
Are there a bunch of spybots out there?!?!?!

a lot of those say "viewing a user's profile". either some organization has taken a lot of interest in the Yard or those are just a whole lot of bots at work.

I don't know the answer, but we have been getting a LOT of spammers lately! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> At the same time, we have had quite a few newer folks join us, and I am happy to see them jump right in and become a real part of the Yard! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I have to admit that I hop on 15+ times a day right now to check if the 511 are headed out yet and to get word when the 911 is coming up.
I also think that the word of all the new blades is getting people to join.
I have not been here for very long. In the short time I have been here (since January) and into Busse Kin (approx 2 1/2 years) I have seen a huge jump in the amount of knives showing up on eBay. Seems like an indicator that the word is spreading.
What will happen when everyone knows!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Back in the olden days some forums has your e-mail address visible in your profile.

I've been watching them and a large number of the IP addresses are actually owned by Baidu Japan. Since they are a search company I am going to guess that their search spider is lacking in manners. Nothing too concerning yet! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Tom is right though, the number of attempted spammer sign ups lately has grown to some big numbers! edit: Just nuked another 5 of them actually..
