So does this mean that a Basic 9 or 10 is Scrap Yards next offering?

More often than not, I think they stay in the same size range with offerings. So maaybee a 911 could be in our future. Hoping I can afford to get one for me and for my brother's x-mas. I know he could use it early, as he heats his small snow country home with only wood stove.

To me it doesn't make sense for all the Busse brands to release big knives at the same time, but I usually guess wrong, speculating on their marketing strategies, and they have done well it seems.

I'm hoping small, because I have a basic 10 and a rodent 9 in my near future.

I don't know if it's maketing or economy of manufacuring with reduced set up costs. the Scrap Yard and Swamp series are so alike in blade profile, they can probably crank them out with little machine changes.

After the Busse 10 pre-order is over the Yard and Swamp can do what they want, I think. The yards offerings are usually in the store for awhile so if you want both its possible do get them both.
I'll stick with the yard and swamp...I have never pushed a knife so hard that I've felt the need to go farther than sr101 or sr-77.

anyways i want all of Dans upcoming releases, but I'm hoping its bigger than the 5-11.

I hope it's the 711 because there are too many other big choppers coming out already!!
