Entered into a deal with Azwelke. I bought a nice Dumpster Mutt Double Cut. (I wanted something is SR77 to play with.)
Besides giving me a righteous price, he threw in an extra that was sorely needed, and much appreciated. A perfectly flawless, totally unexpected, and totally over the top transaction. So rare these days.

I'm starting to see how this brotherhood really is a brotherhood in the truest sense of the word. So many forums claim it, but very few have it as the fabric of their being. I am happy that I found this little niche of the Internet. You guys really make me feel welcome, and treat each other with the honor and dignity we all deserve. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Good to hear that honest trade still prevails.

Yeah, AZwelke is a standup guy with great sheaths at fair prices! I've bought a few of his sheaths, and received a few others with blades I've bought off of the exchange.

His sheaths always arrive very quickly and with perfect fit and finish. Best of all, none of his sheaths has ever rubbed a blade of mine! If there's one thing that I hate, it is kydex rubs. I'd much rather a tree mark up my blades, NOT the sheath.

I completely agree with you about the brotherhood, both here and to some extent on Bladeforums.

So many dogs have helped me out it's incredible. Many a fine dog helped me reach my goal of JYD #137, soon I should be getting the challenge coin with my JYD #, I've been given free sheaths, and I've won several giveaways on Bladeforums.

I've helped out fellow dogs in need, as well. Pay it forward my Scrap Yard Brother!

I have dealt with Al as well and was extremely happy, he makes a great sheath and is one fast communicator to questions.

My mother told me if didn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything but that never stopped me before.

Thanks Domino for the kind words. My wife, DeAnn, and I do this together. She does most of the typing and she helps me with the kydex too.

I appreciate all the kind words, and the opportunity the Yard has for us:)
The goodness of the Yard is in our blood.

Long Live the Yard.

Thank You
Al

Al, you and your wife are awesome. You searched for some purple kydex for my daughters Cupidvore birthday present, and I wanted to let you know that she absolutely loved it. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Yeah, I have several knives that need Kydex. Too rust prone in leather, and I like to keep a knife sheathed and ready. We will definitely have some more dealings.
