Golden Manor Inn when the crew arrives on Thursday, 10/13. They have the annual "night stalker" sale at the hotel, and the folks who attend clean up -- the really rare stuff almost never makes it to the range.
Also, you can only get cheesecake at the Golden Manor; they don't bring it to the range. If you've been there, you'll understand why -- there's no good place to serve it up or good places to sit and eat comfortably at the range. If they gave it out there, people would be getting cheesecake stickyness all over the knives, and it would just be a mess. Fall in the Ohio valley is frequently windy, chilly, and wet -- I've had to be hauled out of the range parking area (muddy fields) by a tractor. The weather is pretty nice at some of the Fall shows, but it can also be unpleasant -- check the weather reports and be prepared if you're going down to the range.
Ever since Jerry issued an open invitation to the pre-show sale, I do my shopping there. I'm not positive, but I'm probably going to bring Zuki this year.
