Hey Dogs.
Took the 511 out for a hike to check out the trails after Irene moved thru and try to brush up on trackin some deer, and snapped a few pics. LOVIN the 511!
[Linked Image from i778.photobucket.com] These are the Blue Hills just south of Boston where the highest winds were clocked at 82 mph.
[Linked Image from i778.photobucket.com] inconspicuous gear so as not to scare sheeple.
[Linked Image from i778.photobucket.com] Many big ones came down
[Linked Image from i778.photobucket.com] and i had to keep reminding myself to look up, lots of widow makers hangin over the trails
[Linked Image from i778.photobucket.com] Fresh stuff, i knew he was very close. But looks like i need much more practice. He saw me first about 30 yards away and bolted,a nice young buck probly 200 lbs,too fast to get the pic.
[Linked Image from i778.photobucket.com] Thanks Dogs

Very coll. Makes me want the cool weather hurry up and get here. One thing about Oklahoma, we are used to the widow makers getting blown at us!

Nice pics. I got out yesturday for 1st time since Irene too. There wasn't a lot down here- but we've had good snows, ice and good windstorm last year. Was surprised we lost power for 5 days.

Great pics!! Good to know there's another Dog in the Boston area.

I always go camping in NH, where exactly is this location? I've got to make a visit!

Nevermind, I found it! What is the reservation like? Is there a lot of people around who would give you a hard time about carrying a dogfather on your belt and starting fires? Can you hunt there?

How can I have lived in Boston for so long and not know about this place?

Thanks MUCH guys.
Its a great little retreat thats close to home and a nice place to get some exercise and keep your skills sharp.
Hey Flux, fires are only allowed in designated areas down by the pond where fishin IS legal, and no hunting, but there is tons of wildlife so its good for practice in between our trips to N.H.,the Skyline hike is ten miles from Quincy to Milton with many shorter trails, i'll meet ya for a hike if youre up for it sometime. And you know where we live so bring the DF but keep it in the pack
Added a few pics for ya
