From what I can tell, not that I have looked a lot, the B11 is just slightly thicker and slightly heavier? Is that right?

From what I understand, the B-11 is .25" thick right at the ricasso and has a distal taper down to .23" (if I remember correctly) for the rest of the blade.

This is just what I've been told. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Mine only looses about .010" (which could be coating wear) until about 2.6" from the tip where it starts to taper down to the tip.

Both probably start out with .250" stock with the B10 loosing .020" in the Hand Finish Satin being applied.

That's possible. People at blade said they Mic'd at .25" and the B-6 was supposed to be .25". I wonder if it's a way to save a little money. Like you said, to get down to .23" they probably use .25" stock. Therefore, a .25" blade would have to be cut from a thicker piece of stock, say .275".

Perhaps that's the last minute decision making that Jerry was doing in an attempt to save us all a bit of money. Who knows. That's just a guess.

Hooker, can you take a spine shot of your B-11? I always thought there was a taper after the Ricasso.

Since I have a B11 and it has served very well, I will probably skip out on the B10 since they look to be so similiar. Going to be a sweet blade for sure though!

That's for sure! The big plus on the B-10 in my eyes is the blended convex edge.

No taper until 2.6" from tip.

Sweet! Thanks. I don't know why someone told me that. In that case, I'd almost prefer the B-11 to the B-11. Thicker and longer and CG. If only I could get one at the original price.

BTW I love the Jungle Green, by far my favorite CG color, followed closely by Arctic White.

Thanks guys. I have the B11 and I love it. I think I will be passing on the LE just because the B11 does everything that I have asked it to do thus far.

flux - you just missed one on ebay - it was a b11 CG user that was stripped but it sold for almost the same price as the B10LE coming out today.

I almost went for it but then it would have been more than the B10Le and I prefer the satin finish over the extra 1 inch.

So many new knifes lately.
