so I scored a mint scrapper 6 with sheath on saturday and I must say I LOVE THIS KNIFE!!!! it is very similar to the Basic 6 I have. I know its a bit thick for deer hunting but I think I will carry it with my mud puppy. IDK I just really like the heft and feel of this knife. this should be like the swamps RMD and be available all the time! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I keep saying it is my favorite knife of all I own. I sold my first one and after awhile I searched until a fellow dog sold me one, it will be with me forever.

sweet. I scored 2 of them this weekend. 1 black, 1 tan. They have brought me back to the yard. I was a little disappointed with my last scrap yard, but these two are awesome.

I stupidly sold one of mine thinking that there would be a combat grade Basic 6. Since there will never be a combat grade basic 6 I wish I had it back. I still have 1 though. It is a great size and design. I agree it should be a staple and available at least in batches yearly.

I love the S6 but have always opted to use it's heavier brother the SRKW M6. I just like the edge and edge retention that SR101 offers.

I really wish the 611 had an S6 handle. Not that I don't like the Reg style handle I just think it is better suited for larger blades.

A 611 with an S6 handle would be a dream come true.......HINT!
