It is a self made friction folder from a 2mm piece of machete 1055 carbon steel, green and black G10, nuts and bolts.

The folder is still a work in progress, but hopefully I can get some better quality ones done in future.

Your friction folder reminds me of "Primitive" style of blades. I like it!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I dont know if I will be taking the Friction folder with me again. I found an old Kershaw model 2420. A bit larger blade that might come more in handy.

Looks like an adventure I would enjoy. I don't know anything about Botswanna, but think I would not be there without my FAL!
