Hi folks!
A week ago I receive my 511
I sharpen it convex type
This is tomato test - knife can be used fro food preparation

I decide to do outdoor test with my brand new 511
Just a little batoning
Wood was a dry Acacia hard like stone

After this there was ZERO problems with edge!
Incredibly strong and useful knife!

I couldn't agree more. Thanks for the pics!

I'm loving the 5-11. I am awaiting Rainwalker pants for both my 5-11 and Busse Hack Bear Cub. Once I get the 5-11 clothed, it'll come with me into the woods on many occasion, giving my BJ and .22 ASH a rest.

In the mean time, I have been playing with it around the house and on my back porch. It's one blade that I can't seem to put down.

I've also found it to be a fantastic thrower! The tip is sharp as a needle and the blade forward balance helps to hit my mark.

As far as edge retention, SR-101 is top notch. As long as you touch it up after use, the 5-11 will likely stay razor sharp forever. I'm very happy with the choice of steel on this blade.

Thanks a lot folks!
After this used knife still shave hair, well not so good as at the beginning!
Well I try to keep my hard working knives dirty.
And soon will be the start of big game hunting season and I hope to getting the knife bloody:):):):)!
