The braveheart has the thumb indentations I was talking about. my oldest daughter's boyfriend dropped his point first onto the concrete floor of our basement the first day he had it. We had to re-profile a new tip for it

I have an A.G. Russell Sting all metal hide out that has the cutouts in the side (but not near as deep) and the thumb indents although they are just smooth. The combo of the two does pretty well. I had forgot all about having that knife.

We actually arrested a guy in the parking lot of the jail/sheriffs office with a bag of pot. He decided to light one up while waiting on someone to come in for visitation.
