Call deputy on a cell phone. We tried that, but our sheriff decided that every call has to go out over the radio for officer safety. That way if someone gets in trouble, everyone (in theory)would know where they are at.

Only time we still do the cell phone thing is on warrant services where the sub is known to have a scanner and be a runner. Then they have to call in and let us know so we can send help if they yell.

yeah she's kept us busy at times. She is a joy, but man is it tough for a couple old folks to run after a kid a year and a half old!
