I remember When I was a kid I would get home from school about 5 minutes after Dark Shadows came on. But if there was bad weather between us and the station we couldn't get good reception.

they had a jimmy olsen type photographer assigned to him, and a co-reporter that was trying to be scully like

A lot of the remakes just don't come off like the original. I have never seen it, but I suspect that the New Hawaii Five O just wouldn't have the same, what ever like the original did.
