And YUP, my relief IS here. Just got a call from the stepson, he needs to borrow our truck. Guess I can handle driving a 2009 Tahoe for a while!

As usual the weather is perfecto out here. I realize it's late for many, but I just climbed down out of the Italian Cypress trees I'm topping in the backyard. I now realize that I am not the best chainsaw sharpener. I sharpened my old chain ( with the fancy disc grinder and my other grinder to lower the lead tabs on the chain). I must have sharpened it 20 times. I finally broke down and bought a new chain .... what a difference. I'm not as good as I thought. I'm probably not the best with sharpening the knives either. ... oh well, .... that means I have more to learn in life!

I use a jig and a rat tail file to sharpen my chainsaw. Just takes a minute and does a great job.
